Concrete in kitchen interiors

Concrete in kitchen interiors – a new trend?

The kitchen was built in a tasteful Barnhouse-style new building in the Moscow suburbs. The whole interior is light and bright, with dark accents and dark wood accents. Concrete is one of the top materials when it comes to a modern, industrial look in a telap interior.

The kitchen facades use Egger perfect sesnse material in poplar for the floor cabinets, while the back wall panel has a matching premium tobacco oak decor.

The kitchen is arranged on two walls and forms an L-shape. Concrete decor is used for the cabinet fronts and table tops, and is matched to the kitchen vinyl floor.

In this kitchen project, the accents are played with black keys – black matt handles, black open shelves, and also Franke plumbing – a faucet and a tectonite sink.

It’s a small detail, but it’s very important to match the sockets to the overall style and shades of the kitchen – often customers forget about this and leave light sockets where they don’t belong. Dark rosettes are unobtrusive and elegant, remember that.

We use quality hardware from Blum in our projects, from the quiet closing hinges and lifting mechanisms to the anthracite-coloured drawers that fit in with the overall design of the project.
