1. Forget about surfaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It is imperative to think and plan how every centimetre of your kitchen will be used. One of the most common mistakes is the ill-considered size of surfaces, which leads to a work surface overflowing with items that are not even needed at the time and interfere with the joy of cooking. At the very least, there should be space for cooking, utensils and a place to eat. <\/p>\n\n

2. Not thinking through storage solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At first, it’s hard to grasp just how many different objects, spice jars, oil jugs and more are hiding behind kitchen cupboard fronts. And it’s not getting any smaller with time – on the contrary, more and more cooking utensils and culinary delights are being bought, but they also need a place to be stored. If storage space is not allocated early on in the kitchen planning process, it is unfortunately not possible to expand it later. Plan ahead!<\/p>\n\n

3. Don’t think about lighting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

When it comes to lighting, you may have to think ‘outside the box’, as different types of lighting can make the same kitchen furniture look completely different, take on different shapes. It is important to make the most of natural light in the kitchen. If this is not enough, it is advisable to choose lighter tones for the kitchen and incorporate clever LED solutions where possible, for example under floor cupboards. <\/p>\n\n
